Children & Family
Families are vital to Pasadena Covenant because spiritual formation begins in the home. We seek to support you and your kids by providing quality programs and opportunities for parents and children to connect with God, our church community, and the broader world. There are many ways for children and families to connect at PCC.
Look UP! celebrating what God is doing

10:30 am Sunday Morning Opportunities for Infants through 5th Grade
Infants – 0 - 23 month in the nursery Nusery
The youngest members of our church family (ages 0 - 23 months) learn about God's love in simple ways: through a warm and caring welcome, a gentle hug, a laugh, a smile.
Two- & Three-Year- Olds
10:25 a.m.-11:45 p.m.: 2 – 3 year olds meet in the downstairs preschool room Ground Floor, Preschool Building
2's & 3's begin their time in the Godly Play Story Room. Godly play is an interactive, hands-on storytelling program that emphasizes worship, wonder, and expriencing God's presence. After the story they return to their classroom for snack, crafts and free play.
10:30 a.m. Ground Floor, Sanctuary
We strive to be a multigenerational church, singing a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and finding ways for all generations to seek and experience God together. Children four years old through fifth grade are encouraged to participate in the worship service for the first 30 minutes and then are invited to participate in age-appropriate classes.
11:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m. Second Floor, Preschool Building
After dismissal from the worship service, kids four and five years old go the Godly Play Story Room. Godly Play, is an interactive, hands-on storytelling program that emphasizes worship, wonder, and experiencing God's presence. After the story they go to their classrooms to follow up on the story through crafts and games.
11:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m. Second Floor, Carlson Hall
After dismissal from the worship service, kids in grades one through five have a fun and interactive time, discussing and asking questions about our faith and engaging in lots of hands-on crafts, games and other activities. Their time together includes both large group Bible study and small group follow-up. On the first Sunday of each month, the children in grades 1 - 5 stay in the worship to participate in the Communion service.
During the Week
Rehearsals (during the school year): Wednesdays, 5:45-7:00 p.m. Choir Room
The Pasadena Covenant Children's Choir sings monthly on Sunday mornings and performs a musical in the spring. During rehearsals, children learn singing technique, xylophone and other percussion instrument parts, music reading and sight-singing, and play music games. The choir is open to all children in grades 1 through 6, including those from the community. It is not necessary to attend Pasadena Covenant--all are welcome!
PasCov Kids' Ministry
Journey to the Cross: Sundays, Feb. 15 - April 5th, 9am in Fellowship Hall
Journey to the Cross is a great way for gradeschoolers to prepare for Lent and Easter in a fun, interactive way. This year Ashley Thaxton will be leading the kids in a program using movement, drama and drums to prepare a cool visual representation of the themes we'll be studying during Lent. The kids will be presenting their piece as part of the worship service on Easter Sunday (April 5th). Join us Sundays at 9:00 in the Fellowship Hall (basement under the sanctuary). There will be no Edge during Lent so the older kids can be a part of this program.
Goofy Golf Game Night: Friday, March 6th, 6:30-8pm
Join us Friday March 6th for Goofy Golf - like miniature golf only crazier & sillier! Invite your friends of all ages to join us for a fun evening! Bring a snack food item to share.
