Women’s Book Club
Fourth Monday of the month, 7:30-9:00 p.m., Corner House
Consider the pleasure and challenge of reading a book each month and discussing it with friends. In September we choose books for the year, then meet monthly to discuss each one over refreshments. This is a good place to get acquainted for newcomers and “oldcomers” alike—plus you receive a discount at Vroman’s for each month’s selection. Click here for a list of books we plan on reading for 2011 through 2012.

Third Tuesday of the month, 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Fireside Room
Women of all ages are invited for fellowship, service projects and learning about cross-cultural ministries. Some of us make baby quilts for newborns in the church (no experience required!). Others use bed sheets to make bandage rolls for Congo hospitals. Projects for the church office or children’s ministry occupy other women. From 11:30 a.m. to noon a guest speaker shares with us about a cross-cultural ministry, and we enjoy coffee, tea, goodies and conversation throughout the morning.
